Thursday: Arboretum Week Activities Continue
Here's a look at what's going on around Newport today.
- There will be a Tree Walk at Bellevue House for Newport Arboretum week at 5:30 p.m.
- newportFILM will present a special screening of IF A TREE FALLS at the Jane Pickens Theater & Event Center at 6 p.m.
- If It's Thursday, It Must Be Shakespeare at the Redwood Library, beginning at 5 p.m.
- For students planning on completing the Rotary Scholarship, the due date is April 28. The application should be postmarked by Apri 28, 2012.
- Pat LaRose will lead a book discussion at this year’s 2012 Reading Across Rhode Island selection, Caleb’s Crossing, at the Newport Public Library.
