Random Act of Kindness Hits Aquidneck Island
This Random Act of Kindness #13 was found on a car windshield in Portsmouth on Thursday.
Have you received a Random Act of Kindness on your car windshield lately?
I was surprised (and extremely moved) to find the above note, along with a $5 gift card, on my car windshield Thursday afternoon in the Custom House Coffee parking lot.
The note was inside an envelope simply marked "Random Act of Kindness #13." Only the names "Nicole, Keith & Blake" were written on the card.
As you can see above, the Random Acts of Kindness are being distributed throughout the country in honor of the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School. This act is specifically performed in honor of the late Chase Kowalski, age 6.
I want to personally thank this person or persons for this random act. It absolutely put a smile on my face, brightened my day and inspired me to pay it forward.

It's a lovely sentiment. To me, the greatest beauty of random acts of kindness is that they need no particular reason at all.
