Poll: What Happened to the Winning Powerball Ticket?

Share you thoughts about what happened to that $336 million ticket.

It’s been more than a week since Rhode Island Lottery officials confirmed the winning ticket for the $336 million Powerball was sold at Stop & Shop on Bellevue Avenue.

Rumors swirled that Sid Abruzzi of Water Bros. had the winning ticket. Then it was talk that several Shop & Shop employees were going to split the winnings, and that a Salve Regina University student had been set for life. Still, no one has stepped forward.

Is the winner biding his or her time, waiting for the frenzy to die down? Or could it be the ultimate nightmare, and maybe the golden ticket has been lost?

Did anyone ever watch the E channel special of what large ticket lottery winners did with their winnings and how it changed their lives? 95 % of what happened to them was not good. some blew through thier winnings and are broke. some did well. some has passed on with their new reckless life they lived. what they aired wasnt so glamorous. i do hope the winner of the jackpot keeps thier head and they not only lives the life they dream of but considers where they may donate some money that would really help some very needy causes...... best wishes to the winner !
