UPDATE: Police Investigate Stabbing at Studio 3
One victim was brought to Newport Hospital. Newport Police are investigating the stabbing.
Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Newport late last night, Sgt. John Carlone said Sunday afternoon.
The stabbing occurred at Studio 3, 270 Thames St., at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday. One male victim was transported to Newport Hospital. Police are not aware of his condition.
"There is an active investigation," Carlone said.
