Happy to see all the students at Rogers giving back to the community. What a great life lesson!

unfortunately too much emphasis is on this giving to the community. give to your neighbor.
everybody is so into community giving and caring, but yet when someone gets attacked everyone splits. when the neighbor needs something nobody can be found.
all this feeling wonderful is for the birds when people don't show up when it is really needed and instead turn their heads. what about caring about the community by driving more normal instead of like an idiot. that is giving.
how about letting someone take spot in the parking lot instead of speeding up to get there before anyone else.
how about letting an elderly person cross the street instead of speeding up to beat them at the cross walk.
how about helping someone when nobody is looking.
anyone can collect food and then pose for the paper, which everyone enjoys,
but nobody seems to care about doing charitable acts when nobody is looking.
