Newport Police Log: Disorderly Conduct, Simple Assault
The following is based on reports from the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Ender Rodriguez, 25, of 195 Admiral Kalbfus Rd., Newport, was arrested around 1:55 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, for a disorderly conduct charge.
Reports said Rodriguez charged at another man in the 7 Eleven parking lot across from the police station during an argument.
Assault arrest
Meredith A. Klassner, 35, of Newport, was arrested around 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, for a domestic simple assault charge.

Yeah he charged the guy for spitting in his face spitting is assault right and now his whole family is suffering that other guy should have gotten arrested. How corrupt is this town I hope those cops are happy a friendly quiet hard working man was arrested they should be ashamed they must have been bored
