Eight Cited, Arrested Over the Weekend

Alcohol citations
- Ernest G. Jones, 51, of 15 Meeting St., was cited around 11:19 a.m. on on Friday, June 15, for possession of alcohol in public.
- Timothy M. McKinney, 56, of 65 Tilden Ave., Newport, was cited around 11:19 a.m. on Friday, June 15, for possession of alcohol in public.
- Peter B. MacDonald, 24, of 68 Kay St., Newport, was cited around 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, for possession of alcohol in public.
- Jonathan A. Place, 23, of 416 Sowams Rd., Barrington, was cited around 2:44 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, for possession of alcohol in public.
- Peter S. Eklund, 23, of 1 Edgewood Dr., Barrington, was cited around 2:44 p.m. no Saturday, June 16, for possession of alcohol in public.
Other arrests
- Crystal E. Berube, 29, of 984 East Main Rd., Middletown, was arrested around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, for breaking and entering without consent and breaking and entering with a resident home charges.
- Elizabeth J. Pedretti, 52, of 15 Meeting St., Newport, was arrested around 7:25 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, for violating a no contact order.
- Joel W. Kluth, 31, of 24 Hall Ave., Newport, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, for drug possession and fighting charges.
