5 Things: Student Mythology Exhibit and Big Read Newport

Here's a look at what's going on around Newport today.

 
  1. There will be a  student Mythology exhibition by Thompon Middle School fifth-graders at Marble House today from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
  2. Youth for Understanding is looking for host families for an academic school year or a semester. To learn more about welcoming an exchange student into your home, get the details here.
  3. Tales of TMS Theater Production in the Thompson cafeteria will begin at 7 p.m.
  4. Rogers High School students are encouraged to recycle their old shoes to benefit the Physical Education program. Bring old shoes to the recycling boxes in the gym. 
  5. Today's Big Read Newport 2012 book discussion at the Newport Public Library will be Our Town by Thornton Wilder at 7 p.m.
