5 Things: Primary Results, City Council Meeting, School Picture Schedule
Here's a look at what's going on around town today.
- The results from yesterday's primary are in. View the results here.
- The Newport City Council meets today for it's regulary scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
- NWEA testing begins today and continues through next Tuesday.
- School pictures will be taken at Rogers High School from Sept. 12-14. Juniors will be Wednesday will be juniors along with seniors whose last names begin with the letters A-F. Sophomores will be Thursday along with seniors whose last names begin with the letters G-R, and freshman will be photographed Friday along with seniors whose last names begin with the letters S-Z.
- Girls tennis has a match against Tolman today at home at 4 p.m. Boys soccer has a match against St. Raphael's at 5 p.m. away at McKinnon-Alves Soccer Complex.
