Nearly 300 high-achieving, well-behaved Thompson Middle School students enjoyed a movie screening of "Despicable Me" at The Jane Pickens Theater on Friday, March 9, 2012.  Attendees met specific criteria as part of the school's Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.  The students were highlighted as POWERful learners: they Participate, are Organized, Work hard, keep Everyone safe, and Respect others.  The mid-year celebration was based on achievement during the first half of the academic year.
