Submissions Now Accepted for Newport in Bloom
Newport residents and business owners with gardens visible from the street are encouraged to enter this year's Newport in Bloom competition.
Entries must be postmarked by Saturday, July 31. For an entry form, call Nikki Vasquez at 339-0243.
Donations are also currently being accepted for hanging baskets on Bellevue Avenue. Those can be sent to Newport in Bloom, 38 Whitwell Avenue, Newport RI 02840.
The awards ceremony will be held Aug. 18 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
